I ♥ Promarkers Challenge #3

I'm so glad I have managed to start the Christmas cards! Also I've managed to enter
I ♥ Promarkers Challenge for the first time - hooray.

This is their lovely sketch with which you can use any colours. I've used lots of Cool Aqua and browns and vanilla and Ivory. I've also used glossy accents for noses and eyes. I've heat embossed the snow using PM Tinsel Snowflake powder. The image is a Rachelle Anne Millar which Metallicbutterfly sent me in her candy (thanks).

The papers are from Papercraft and Inspiration Magazine, Daisy and Dandelion 'A Winter's Tale' and a Cherry made one using Cool Aqua and Heat Embossing. This one is layered on a Crafttime silver Glitter sheet with a Crafttime snowflake glitter shape as an embellishment. Thread is from stash. Sentiment stamp is Snag 'Em.
Thanks for looking - have a feeling I need lots more!!! Hugs Cherry XXX

A sparkly autmnal Tilda with ribbon!

This card was a delight to make - so thanks for the inspiration.

Allsorts Challenge - 'Autumn Days'

Die Cut Dreams - 'Ribbons and Trim'

Moving Along with the Times - sketch by Hazel and 'Strictly Sparkling'

Tilda, rolling pin and sentiment are from the Magnolia Autumn collection and she is turning into one of my favs. She is coloured using PMs (mostly Pumpkin, of course!) Pumpkins are from the WOJ Fall collection - I love them, to make them shine I've applied Glossy Accents over the top. Papers are from Paper Pizazz 'Kids' collection stamped in Gold Galaxy (more sparkle) with pumpkins and reciepe stamps. The handmade glitter paper is by BitsNPieces. I've layered the one set of pumpkins and the rolling pin for a little depth. The ribbon is celebrate and all the bling was free from magazines. I've stuck together some flowers, buttons and a sequin - just for sparkle!

Receipe on the inside is a James Martin for Spiced Pumpkin Tart with Ginger Cream - yummy!
This card is for my mum who loves cooking and the Autumn.
Thanks for looking. Hugs Cherry XXX

LGS GDT spot and distressed CCC - Woohoo!

My card for LGS and Cupcake Craft Challenge.

My sketch.
The lovely ladies (Katie and Karen) over at LGS on Craftbubble very kindly asked me to be their GDT this week - thank you so much. Sharon of Willow Designs created the group and due to family matters is unavailable - sending love at this time. I got to design the sketch and make a card. I decided to add the twist of making part or all of the card 3D as I love the layered look. The challenege over at CCC is Distressing and as I am playing with my new Tom Holtz products I thought this would suit.
I used silicone glue for the layered look - as inspired by Just Magnolia Tutorial.

The Fall Willow image was coloured using Pms and shine given to the ribbon and shoes with glossy accents.

The papers were 'Wild Asparagus' and the distessed look was achieved using Tom Holtz distress ink, stickles and embossing powder in vintage photo. Cardstock was PM and flower was from the lovely Elaine at QP.

Thanks for looking. Hugs Cherry XXX

Male 'Chef' Sketcher!

Susie and Vicki at DCD have 'It's raining men' theme and Friday Sketchers have a lovely sketch - so here's my take on both.

Had a play with my new Tom Holtz crackle paint and stickles in Vintage photo for the mushroom over PMs with a little metallic rub on over the top in gold. I'm quite pleased with the texture and colour.

Papers are the very beautiful My Mind's Eye 'Wild Asparagus' and PM cardstock with a little Distress ink in vintage photo over the top. The label and choc drops were in Metallic butterfly's candy (thanks Emma). Stamp is the cheeky Autumn Edwin coloured with PMs - just ready to cook!

Loved playing with this over the last two days - feeling more crafty every moment. Hugs Cherry XXX

Let's Get Stamping Challenge

Lauren is GD this week over at Let's Get Stamping on Craftbubble and has a lovely sketch and twist. Use one stamp to make a topper and background. Thought this was a good way to get back into crafting after hols. Which were fab.

Original Willow Designs stamp

Used silicone glue for 3D effect.

Anita's white card used with Versamark embossing ink and PM pink embossing powder for background and sentiment. Butterfly stamped in DD Pink Orchid (also used for outline of card) and stuck using silicone glue for 3D. Papers were Smirk and stars were from stash and the ribbon was Celebrate. The little butterflies were punched using an X-cut punch.

The whole of the card was a struggle - just couldn't get in the zone. Hopefully that is out of the way and happy crafting is to follow. Here is a random picture of my hols - simply stunning on the Isle of Mull.Calgary Bay.

Thanks for looking and it's good to be back. XXX

Pink and Girly DT Call at Die Cut Dreamers!

Susie and Vicki over at Die Cut Dreamers are after two new DT members - go and have a look. The theme they have chosen is Pink and the entries need to be in by 25th sept. This is my entry. I thought it would also fit with the Passion for Promarkers 'Girly and Glitzy' theme.

The idea came from Stephanie's blog and she inspired me to get hold of 'The All Boxed up' template from Papertreyink.

I've used Dovecraft 'Wild Blossoms' papers and ribbons with sparkle. The ribbon is Celebrate and the Tilda is coloured with PMs and an Inksessential pen. The wings are heat embossed with PM Tinsel Snowflake embossing powder to add a sparkle. Her wellies and flowers are made glossy with Glossy accents. I've heat embossed the sentiment onto a post it heart. The flowers were from Metallicbutterfly's candy (thanks Emma)
and my stash. I really enjoyed this make and thanks for taking the time to look.

First for the boys!

I've not really had a go at boy cards before but I've had this image coloured for a while. so the Allsorts Challenge this week was ideal to have a go - it's nice to be entering their challenge again as I haven't for a while.

I used:

Edwin image from Susie Sugar (thanks) coloured using PMs

Paper Pizazz Kids papers, stamp and letters

Ladybird button from stash

Anita's Dragonfly sticker

Freebie butterfly sticker from Mag

Stamped bee images from Joanna Sheen Flowerpot set using Galaxy Gold DD ink

It is nice to make a card that I would not normally have attempted - so thanks girls and love your creations. Thanks for looking. XXX

Spotlight Challenge Blog and Candy

Yummy Yummy!!

Go and check this new blog out Looks like fun is coming!!! XXX

As summer draws to an end I thought it was lovely of Susie and Vicki to choose 'Summer' as their theme over at DCD. I thought this went nicely with Katie's sketch over at Easy Crafts Projects Create-a-sketch.

Pink Pearlescent card

Fall Tilda image coloured with PMs and Inksessetial white pen

K&Co 'Amelia' papers, small flowers and Wish tag sent by Emma as part of her candy (thanks)

SeeD's Flower Power Alphabet in Dew Drop Galaxy Gold

Celebrate pink ribbon

It's not very summery here, in fact it's rather chilly - so it's nice to be reminded of summer - but I think it's made this card rather autumnal in feel.

Thanks for looking. XXX
