Cocoa and Rose Pink Cupcake Anyone ?!?

The lovely Susie and Vicki over at DCD have chosen Cupcakes as their theme this week and PFP have chosen Cocoa and Rose Pink and i thought these would melt together in a delightful gooey manner!!!

I took careful ownership of Liesel and her wheelbarrow this morning from CC Designs and the Swiss Pixies range, sent very promptly by Elaine from Quixotic Paperie. She and her pixie mate Gretel are a complete indulgence but sooooo lovely.

I've teamed her with Funky Fairy Cupcake paper, cupcake and mat and have used a Fairy Cake stamp by Willow Designs in Dew Drop pearlescent orchid and some Sweet rub ons by DCWV. Flower and butterfly from stash. I clear embossed her wings the cherry on the cake and the heart on the wheelbarrow. The cupcake paper is the FF paper printed on vellum in pink. PMs used to colour the images, mostlt cocoa and rose pink.

Thanks for looking. XXX

Carmine Faery for 'Let's Get Stamping'

Katie's sketch on Craftbubble for the 'Let's Get Stamping' Challenge is...with the added optional twist to use the carmine PM.
I decided to use the free faery stamps that came with 'Papercraft Inspirations' this month and Dovecraft paper 'Wild Blossom'. Also had a go at embossing the wings and top part of the daisy petals with clear powder.

Teamed it with PM cardstock in pink and inked edges with the Dew Drop pearlescent orchid colour. All images coloured using PMS. Then to finish added Anita's sticker sentiment.

Enjoyed this very much thanks for any kind comments. XXX

Vintage Birthday

It is my aunt's birthday on Monday and over at the Allsorts Challenge the theme is vintage and this appeals as I've just got hold of the Paper Cellar Victorian Classic pad. I love the Allsorts challenges but haven't entered for a while so I am happy to be doing so now.

I have had a go at some new techniques for this beginner in this card but on the whole I like it. I have taken one of my photos of a flower head (a fav subject of mine) and edited it with PSE and printed it on Parchment Card and clear embossed over it.

I've layered it on Funky Fairy Distressed paper from Vol 3 and the Victorian Classic paper and added string raffia from Arty Miss.

I stamped happy birthday on gold vellum layered the card up and stamped with a Personal Impressions stamp in Whispers Archival Straw Matt and a FF Bespoke ink pad and clear embossed at points. I also used an XCut ruler to tear the paper.

Thanks for the inspiration DT over at Allsorts and thanks for taking the time to look. Happy Crafting. XXX

Let's Get Stamping Christmas Sketch

Not had much time of late for crafting - but caught a few moments to do Karen's sketch over on Craftbubble...

Had a play with DCWV Christmas stack 'Rose Tinted' and Glitter sheet and teamed them with See D's stamps coloured with PMs and watercolours. I think I should have used a pink ink so the reindeer would have had a pink nose too - perhaps next time!

Also been making an anniversary card and new home card.
