Happy New Year 2012 - Strathmore Class

2012 started today and I and a few of my fellow crafters have signed up for a Strathmore Online Class with Traci Bautisa. Doodling and Mixed Media.
Today was the first lesson, creating backgrounds and creating doodles as the layers grow.

The first step was to create a stencilled background. Here are my stencils.


Here is the first layer. Not sure if it is a bit too light - time will tell as the layers develop.

    great start there cherry. have you had chance to get layer number 2 done? i've done a couple of layers but will have to finish it later in the week now! x
