White embossing

It is quite a nice evening here in this part of the UK. I have had a busy day, not interesting, just busy. I did find a little time to make a few cards. One of which was inspired by Jaine Drake's article in this month's Craft Stamper Mag. All about using die cuts and white embossing powder on Kraft Cardstock.

Hobbycraft was placed on this afternoon's itinerary, between Tesco and baking a cake. Luckily, they had one white embossing powder - sea foam! Obviously I snatched a few other items on my way to the till whilst laughing hysterically.

After baking said Victoria Sandwich, I had a little practise. Various attempts later and ...

I really like this effect and have some ideas for Christmas cards - watch this space.

Clare had challenged us with splodges on Craft Mad & Loving It so thought I would break open some Chocolate Baroque stamps and tumbled glass DI. Not sure the card is totally successful but it is a stepping stone to something I am contemplating.

Hope you have a good week. Thanks for stopping by today. Hugs Cherry XXX
