I am quite proud of myself that I am keeping up with this journal Calendar. I really like capturing each day on a made page. I really liked starting with such a blank page and doodling quite a bit.
I went over the whole thing with a Pan Pastel to bring it all together. I added a little Glossy Accents to the bee's wings and coloured a few parts with comics in oranges/pinks.
The quiet end of each day to fill this page in was very therapeutic.
I am doing July differently! I am filling in torn bits of paper for each couple of days but I am not sure where this is going yet. It will be interesting to see what happens. Do pop over to Kate's awesome blog to see her and the other participants of the calendar challenge.
Thanks for stopping by. I am off to Newbury with Kathy and Lauren tomorrow. We will be meeting up with Debs too. Happy Sunday all. Cherry X
wow! I didn't know you were doing a journal- what a wonderful keepsake and a great way to unwind at the end of the day. I can see that it can be therapeutic. One of those things I always think I should do- keep a journal- but it never happens.
