A Wet Afternoon at Goodrich Castle



I thought this window was wonderful - so ornate and robust in the ruin.




Arches are truly majestic even in the rain.

We didn't spot any faeries today but it was very wet. We enjoyed our walk amongst the ruins in the rain - jumping in puddles always makes one happy and there were many today.

Hope you had a happy day what ever you decided to do. Hope the faeries were doing something fun too.

    Hang on - THE Goodrich Castle??? I've been there so many times!! It was my birthday treat several years running - morning there, picnic, Jubilee Maze at Symond's Yat in the afternoon! Gosh, that's brought back memories :-)
