'Less is More' Pastel Colours
For such a simple card this has taken me ages to think about and finally get to a point which I like - please don't laugh!
The stamps are Darkroom Door by Rachel Greig. They are stamped in Dew Drop Orchid and Lavender. The gem is from a gem wheel by Anitas.
The other entries over at 'Less is More' Challenge Blog are thought-provoking and so different. Everyone is so helpful and Mandi and Chrissi are taking so much time it really is worth a gander and a go. 'Spread your wings' indeed.

We like to hear about people really thinking about their submissions to our challenge! Too often people simply see a challenge title and throw something together in the hope that it fits. On reason for us limiting the number of challenges which can be combined with ours is so that entrants will think carefully about what they decide to submit.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are enjoying them. This is a super CAS card, just right for our challenge!
See you next time!

"Less is More"
You're right about the "Less is More" blog - what a lovely selection of items that have been entered for their challenge.
ReplyDeleteAnd I wouldn't dream of laughing at you about your card. Just because a design is "Simple", doesn't make it "Easy" to do! It can need more thought and planning to produce such a simple card / scrap page etc, just because its simplicity shows Every Wrinkle/crack/hiccup.
Your design is really lovely - I do like how you have let the butterflies appear to fly onto and off the card, also how the stamped message is lovely and uneven. Even the tiny bit of "bling" is placed so carefully. Definitely a good effort!
I love the effect you've got with the butterflies on this card - its really effective.
ReplyDeleteit's lovely, fab flying effect x
ReplyDeleteLovely design simple but elegant
ReplyDeleteHi Cherry
ReplyDeleteBeautiful understated card!
It's such a popular misconception that CAS is easy!
Perfect placement takes ages!
Thanks so much for joining us again

ReplyDeleteIt is certainly not easy to do CAS but so rewarding when you get it right. Love your butterflies. x
ReplyDeleteSo simple...yet it is so eyecatching! Love the colors and I must agree with Mandi...CAS is definitely not simple!
ReplyDeletevery pretty!
ReplyDeleteWould NEVER laugh at another crafter taking their time to make something so difficult...
ReplyDeleteYou have done a beautiful job here Cherry, very CAS and very elegant.
