Lauren's theme this week over at 'Craft Mad and Lovin' it' was 'In The Bag'. Off I went to Split Coast Stampers tutorials and found this double pocket bag - perfect.
All you need is one 12x12 piece of paper and some stick and ribbon really.
I've used a piece of DCWV 'Taj Mahal' paper and some Paperartsy ribbon for mine. The flowers are stamped with a Craft Stamper mag flower and cut out (K&Co paper) and Glossy Accents used to stick see beads on for their centres. The image is a Sugar Nellie Leanne Ellis one coloured with PMs.

This is one of the first morning routines for me - getting LOs breakfast. It happens btween 7-8am as she is a good sleeper. That is her prized Elmer spoon. I enjoyed taking this shot as I realise that at some point this will stop and the equipment will change so it is a good way of capturing a moment of daily life with a two year old.
Have a good day.

yay back at ya, and thanks for stopping in. i love that spoon!
ReplyDeleteA lovely bag....and, you're right about the photo....such a good record of something that won't last that long.
ReplyDeleteI completely FORGOT to take a photo, yesterday. I worked long and hard on my post for "In the sunny spot" and forgot that I wanted to head up the hill at sunset to my mil's garden! I could have used it! That post really shared my heart and soul and the camera would have been just the peaceful focus that I needed after all of that!
ReplyDeleteI HAVE thought that, if somehow, I do get to the end of the day and have no natural light left, I should take a pic of something in my ordinary life. How funny that I am forgetting to just take pictures of family and life.
I am so glad that you got a photo of that spoon!
Love, Katy Noelle
Hi Cherry yeah my advice would be take loads of pics while you can as if she's anything like mine she'll soon do one of two things sulk with a big fat bottom lip or hide her face and run a mile they grow up to quickly and before you know it it's to late so treasure every moment I wish I'd taken more pics to remember amy's childhood she's 18 now and yes she still sulks when the camera comes out although we don't take any notice and also the more pics you take now of different things to do with her being young the more you can embarrace her when she's older lol
